The inaugural building of the College of the Muscogee Nation (CMN) represents the dignity of the Muscogee people by portraying the balance between traditional academic features and the Muscogee Nation's culture, thus establishing a strong, unique and distinctive campus. From the eastern orientation of the building that expresses the Muscogee appreciation for the beginning of each new day, to the traditional arbor that addresses the setting sun; cultural influence permeates the structure. Beck Design was honored to learn more about the Muscogee Nation's culture and assist the client with incorporating cultural features into the design of the 25,000 SF multipurpose building.
