Beck Design worked closely with the City of Bixby and Public Works Department’s leadership teams to ensure all current and future needs were analyzed and incorporated into the architectural design. This collaboration brought about a public works facility that incorporates the rugged and durable elements needed for this type of complex with subtle nods to the adjacent neighborhood and the newly established City of Bixby design guidelines. The combination of these elements creates a complex that elegantly fits into the neighborhood context while providing all the spaces needed to continue serving their growing City. The new complex has a total of five buildings, all arranged to maximize flexibility, work efficiency, and most importantly balance cost and account for future growth and expansion.
