The National Weather Center is a 245,000 SF, nine-story building. It is a joint venture between the University of Oklahoma and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for research, operations and education.
This project is a distinctive structure that serves as the southern gateway to the University of Oklahoma. As the academic element of a planned Oklahoma Weather Center complex, the building will facilitate the traditional mission of “teaching, research, and service” of the University, as reflected activities of the School of Meteorology and the research as service units associated with it.
