This summer, Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame will start the process of renovating the historic Tulsa Union Depot into its new home. The depot will house the Jazz Hall of Fame, the museum collection, practice rooms , a performance hall and offices for the organization’s staff. Beck Design will be responsible for maintaining the historic character of the facility while adapting the building to suit the Jazz Hall of Fame’s needs.
Color, light, finishes and creative space allocation will be used to create a modern feel in the museum. Limited by the space’s existing walls, Beck Design will work with the client to find innovative solutions the challenge of returning this grand old building to a public showpiece.
