The new Bixby Performing Arts Center will be located at the corner of Dawes Avenue and Montgomery Street to create a destination to anchor the east end of the downtown area. As Bixby continues to grow, this local venue will provide the opportunity for gathering spaces for events, for patrons to see quality traveling performers in their own backyard, and provide the necessary venue for performances by Bixby Public Schools. The facility will be approximately 70,000 square feet with an outdoor plaza, public lobby, performance hall that seats 1,200 to 1,500 patrons, restrooms, and a multi-purpose event space. Back-of-house support spaces will include dressing rooms, performer’s lounge, scenery repair, catering kitchen, storage, loading dock, and mechanical spaces.
